Being fit for a month doesn’t interest us. Owning your body and training for the long term is what we are about at Charge CrossFit.

This is accomplished one day at a time. One rep at a time and under the watchful eyes of our world-class and professional team of Coaches.

Our training sessions at our Northcote gym are designed and programmed exclusively for our community. Not written by an online service. We have loads of sessions on our weekly timetable to choose from - lots of flexibility for your weekly classes.

Technique is paramount - that is why we developed our CrossFit Enlightenment Sessions.

In these initial 3 sessions you will spend 3 x 1 hour one on one sessions getting a better understanding of CrossFit, key movements and getting a feel of Charge and our community.

As a student of Charge CrossFit you will be entering a journey to unleash your potential and unlock a happier, healthier and stronger you.

What We Do


    Our 1 hour CrossFit sessions are led by two of our certified CrossFit Coaches and follow our programmed Workout of the Day - (aka WOD). The WOD, exercises and scaling are carefully explained and demonstrated by our coaches. Individual coaching is provided throughout the entire session to ensure you’re working in a safe and effective manner and to support improvement in all areas of your fitness. We pride ourselves on the quality and consistency of our group sessions. You can expect an appropriate challenge regardless of how new or fit you currently are.


    A big component of CrossFit is harnessing the ability to control external objects. This 90 minute class is dedicated to just this and encompasses all of the many important factors enabling you to get SUPER strong and for your lifting to have a long shelf life. We are breeding members to eventually become STRONG octogenarians not broken on the way. This takes a strong commitment to technique, mobility and mindset. The 90 mins enables us to be highly creative and give you the barbell experience of your life*! *May cause muscle soreness plus the need to eat a burger with the crew immediately after!


    Bodyweight movement and mastery is a major component of CrossFit. Our Gymnastics sessions are dedicated to the art of increasing your strength, mobility, body awareness and works on all aspects of bodyweight training. From working towards and improving Muscle-ups and Pull-ups, Toe to Bars, Handstands, Pistols, Coordination, Balance, Mobility and MANY more aspects. It's a SUPER fun* 90 minutes! *Fun = Great vibes, super rewarding, sweat inducing and challenging.


    Our personal training sessions are completely individualized to suit your needs. Whether you want to fast track your goals or you prefer training solo we have your back. Pull-ups, Muscle ups, Double Unders, Mobility, Flexibility, Prehab/Rehab, Weightlifting, Running technique, Nutrition plus all other aspects of fitness are covered in these sessions. All that is required is to turn up ready to work hard and learn.


    There is nothing quite like signing up for something that makes you nervous! There is so much growth to be found outside of your comfort zone. We host a number of friendly in-house competitions and The CrossFit Open giving you the opportunity to find new bounds and can provide motivation to train hard, refine and build your skills in preparation. These events are optional of course. They’re spread throughout the year and are a showcase of the Charge community and camaraderie.


    The social aspect and community is the secret sauce of CrossFit and #thechargeway. Surround yourselves with like-minded and supportive people and it can’t help but rub off on you! (Not in a weird way - we promise!).The challenges you face and share in the gym commonly forge strong connections. From the knowing nod of a Charge Legend (Member for 5+ years ) or helping a Newbie learn chalk etiquette and the multitude of CrossFit acronyms - the entire Charge crew has your back! Throughout the year we host a variety of social events. From our Team WODfest barbecue days to our In house Competitions many a strong bond is formed. We prefer to focus on our members rather than external events - because our members ROCK! Join the Charge crew. Water is not “more boiled” if you add more heat.
