First and foremost I’d like to congratulate everyone who participated in the Open this year! It was an amazing and awesome time! You all did so well and it is going to be great to re-test those WODs sometime in the “nearish” future!

As a gym we improved our Regional standing by 12% from last year! We finished 147th out of 341 teams in Aus & NZ. This is calculated by the sum of the top three guys and gals’ scores in each WOD. What a great outcome! Another awesome stat is our participation rate – we had 80 plus people registered for the Open. The last I looked that was near the top 100 in the world for participation! – which is FREAKING AMAZING! (I’m not entirely sure how it ended up as this was the day before registration closed). Great work guys!
And now to celebrate the top three Rx girls in our gym!
CCF OPEN FEMALE RX
1st: Tracey took out the CCF title! She placed 480 in the Aus/NZ region which put her in the top 10.2% and finished 79th within our state!
2nd: Elisa placed 788 in the region which put her in the top 16.9% and within VIC she finished 120th!
3rd: Renee placed 1002 in the region which put her in the top 21.8% and within VIC she finished 157th! (Extra note: Renee now has both Ring and Bar Muscle-ups…Look out next year!)
