A New Year and a New Decade!
During this time of the year I am often reminded of how many people need to start prioritising their health.
The world seems to be going backwards.
I want to grab some of my family members and march them into the gym – but that would never work! (I’ve come very close to actually trying!)
You can’t change what you can’t control.
Luckily we CAN focus on ourselves.
WE can be the change.
WE can lead by example.
Below are 4 focus points you can adopt in order to make 2020 your healthiest yet!
1. Drink 3 litres of water per day.
2. AMRAP vegetables and eat less take away.
3. Move your body.
4. Sleep 8+ hours per day.
BOOM! Solid, simple and effective! Nothing too ground shaking – and I’m sure you’ve heard it all before.
Let’s master these 4 fundamentals.
No matter what style of diet you follow – make sure the Vegetable section is the BIGGEST on your plate and eat them every meal.
We are majorly lucky to have drinkable water at the tip of our fingers. Hydrate and your body will thank you!
Sleep is often underrated – but it can be the key to better performance (in and out if the gym!) and recovery.
Move. With intention AND as a priority.
